Roughly in order of importance (though there’s some pretty close interplay between the first two spots), I’m a partner, parent, lawyer, and photographer. In order of mental health, I’m a partner, photographer, parent, and lawyer. This sounds bad, but I actually like all of these aspects of my life, so don’t get too worked up about it. It’s just that, no, given the realistic option, I would prefer to parent, partner, or photograph over lawyering almost any day.

I live in Tampa, Florida with the aforementioned family. It’s hot here. It’s important to remember that it’s not actually that hot relative to other parts of the country, even places that are just as humid. It’s just that it’s going to hit the 90s in April and stay there through November. What I don’t fully understand after living here a while is that Florida will go on about “Endless summer!” and then air condition everything to subarctic temperatures. Seriously. Go to Five Guys and grab a hot dog in Tampa in July. You’ll need a fleece.

This site is just the occasional photo, with even more occasional brief text snippets. Like me, it’s not exciting but it’s me. You’re welcome to read that again, but you probably read it right the first time. If you want photography gear recommendations I’ll be happy to oblige, but if you so much as utter the phrase “tack sharp” I will laugh.
